Course Information

This is the opportunity to join one of our bespoke course options where the person booked is happy to share the course bringing the overall cost down for everyone.  It is a 3 day course aiming to climb classic ‘Cold Climbs’ ice routes at the Grade V (5) standard in a more guided style, that is to focus on successful ascents and less so on extensive instruction, the days out will offer aspects of both though.  It is important that anyone interested in this course has at least followed some routes of Grade IV (4). (This is so we can match you to the existing booking appropriately).

‘Cold Climbs’ is a selection of classic winter climbs from around the UK and Ireland presented in a hard back coffee table book.

Possible routes – Point 5 Gully, Hadrian’s Wall, Smiths Route, Zero Gully and the Orion Face.

Possible car share option from England.

The price above is for the Guided days out and any technical equipment required.

This is a non-residential course, but we can arrange accommodation for you or give you some options in the area if required, we recommend www.fernvilla.org.uk.
